There a few things that really help prolong the life of your White Board while making sure it is still squeaky clean.. here are a few tips.
1. Only Use Dry Erase Markers
2. Avoid using other cleaning liquids, household or abrasive cleaners.
3. Replace your Eraser Regularly, because they build up and leave marks.
4. Clean your white board 3-4 times a week with Liquid White Board Cleaner.
5. Clean your white board with a clean cloth or white paper towel.
6. If you have to use Thinners Or Methalated Spirits to remove permanent marker, do so sparingly.
Thank you for the guide lines as I always thought metho fluid would not hurt the board.
My wife and I just recently got an old fashion whiteboard to write things down that we need to get done, and I was looking for ways to keep it nice and clean. After reading I’ll be sure to use your advice and your tips. I’ll be using whiteboard erasers whenever possible. I will also clean the board every so often with liquid board cleaner to help maintain a good look.
